PLOT : The comedy movie 50/50 churns out some never-seen-before craziness out of a serious subject matter like cancer. Protagonist Adam Schwartz’s life was running smoothly with his job and ladylove, and his ever-joyous close friend. But all hell breaks loose on him, when he is diagnosed with cancer. He, however, decides not to get bogged down by the illness and goes for chemotherapy. As he prepares himself to face all kinds of consequences, Adam unleashes all his desires and tries to live his remaining days with a feisty spirit, without leaving a single trace of any grudge whatsoever. From there on, the movie takes an eccentric leap forward as the protagonist tries out everything that he had dreamt of, along with his best buddy, Kyle. He even starts dating the female doctor Katie, who helps him in his hard times as he deals with chemotherapy. The movies has an underlying message, which speaks of the power of human mind that can change things for better, no matter how bad the situation is.
