PLOT: Can a rebellious young lad, passionate about music, challenge the orthodox and ideological viewpoints of the residents of his native place? Well, certainly he can, only if he’s determined to do so. Watch Footloose online, a remake of the 1984 musical drama by the same name. Ren McCormack is like any ordinary boy who wants to have it all in his own way. A die-hard fan of music, he relocates along with his mother to a place where singing and dancing is nothing less than a sin. As soon as Ren realizes the inhibitions that are being imposed on him, he sets forth to change the very perspective of people regarding singing and dancing, for it actually reinvigorates an individual to the hilt, contrary to the belief of the folk out there. Ren does find accomplices who support his contention - his friend Willard, and love interest Ariel. The film brings forth the idea that there comes a time when certain pre-conceived notions should be shunned and myths be dispelled away, for only then an overall enhancement and development would set the pace for human race. Ren is nothing but a catalyst, who rekindles that fire in people which they abhor. He makes them believe that it is not that insolent, and can actually change their lives for the better.
